# Sample

#### As a sample, we designed questions and tasks around the theme of blank spaces on the Kangxi atlas. Go to the lesson: [Filling the void](https://publish.framerizer.com/void#1)

This lesson has various goals, such as:

1. Training transferable skills *(Find the right people for the right questions / Have students appreciate small examples as illustrations of major historical shifts)*
2. Stimulate digital literacy *(Compare digital maps, find map in collection)*
3. Avoid reproductive tasks *(Students formulate questions on the basis of what they see)*
4. Differentiate *(Finding own questions on the basis of one's own vision)*
5. Student as researcher *(Students carry out tasks that reinforce independent thinking)*

The technical challenge now is: how are we connecting our questions to existing systems of feedback (*Brightspace* in the case of Leiden University)?
